Our PDR Service Terms and Conditions

Please reach us at info@kodentsolutions.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

• Technical Characteristics: PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) is a specialized process that restores sheet metal through physical manipulation without the use of body fillers (bondo) or repainting.
• Repair Quality: Our technicians will strive for the best possible restoration. However, the final result is subject to the depth and location of the dent (e.g., reinforcement bars, edges), the material of the panel (aluminum vs. steel), and the current condition of the paint.

By commissioning PDR services, the client understands and agrees to the following potential risks:
• Paint Cracking/Peeling: If the repair area has undergone non-OEM (aftermarket) repainting or filler work, or if the original paint is aged or brittle, the paint may peel or crack during the pushing/pulling process. In such events, the company shall not be held liable for any paint repair costs.
• Repair Limitations: For sharp dents (creases) or those located on structural stress points, minor imperfections (such as high spots or slight texture/waves) may remain after repair. 100% visual perfection may not be achievable in extreme cases.
• Disassembly & Reassembly: To access the backside of a dent, it may be necessary to remove interior panels, trim pieces, or light assemblies. If plastic clips or fasteners break due to material aging, our priority will be the restoration of function; the cost of replacing such consumables shall be borne by the client.
• Access Holes (Drilling): If no existing access point is available to reach the back of the dent, necessary drilling may be performed only with the client's prior consent. All holes will be sealed with professional anti-rust plugs upon completion.
• Paint Protection Film (PPF): If the vehicle is wrapped in PPF, the use of glue-pulling techniques carries the risk of film delamination or tearing. This risk is assumed by the client. We will consult with the client before proceeding with any glue-pulling on PPF.

• Acceptance Standards: The quality of the repair will be evaluated under a professional line board (PDR light) or in natural light.
• Fee Agreement: If the desired results cannot be fully achieved due to overstretched metal or structural constraints, the service fee may be reduced at the company’s discretion.
